Precipitation is measured using a tipping-bucket rain gage. Each tip of the bucket records 0.254 mm of precipitation. Graphs of rain gage data show (1) the precipitation in each 2 minute interval, (2) the cumulative precipitation since the last gage reset, and (3) the rainfall intensity over the last 15, 30, and 60 minutes.
