Nisqually Earthquake 2002, Washington

2nd general meeting with some notes from 3rd meeting held March 2&3, 2001

The second general meeting has led to a coordinated effort between the federal, state, city, University of Washington, and private companies. This has resulted in a more efficient use of resources and coverage of the areas of damage. A preliminary report is scheduled to be released in the next several weeks (~10 pp) followed by a detailed report of 50-60 pp in the next several months.

The combined meeting of all groups was very short and then the group broke up into special interest groups.

The following details are notes taken from the geology and geotechnical session.
